Last week, I bought a set of opaque inks specially formulated by Ranger which will adhere to metal. They come in a set of three colours which are verdigris, moss and jade.
I found some antique brass filigree butterfly charms and started exploring with the paint. I blended in the three colours, starting with moss, jade then verdigris. And I love the blending effects! It is fast drying with a satin finish.
I also like the fact that it has no acids and UV safe.
Don't worry about the paint dropping off. They create beautiful and durable patina effects.
After painted the butterflies, I searched for more things that I can paint on. It was so fun. And I found some lucky charms tags, butterfly charms, filigree pieces and a pair of lock and keys.
