I had made this Queen Elsa charm with original Rainbow loom and using original loom bands.
I have used a special color for the hair. I had altered it to be a combination of shiny light gold with white. For the cape, it is in turquoise jelly and the dress is in solid turquoise color.

Halloween mood

Recently I been addicted to playing with loom band. It's so fun.

Hmm.. I thought perhaps I can mix in some beads to the loom band to make a bracelet..

And TA.. TA..

I had made this spooky skull bracelet with original Rainbow loom bands which are latex free.

The center of the bracelet is an orange color 8mm stone skull with crystal beads at the top and bottom. I had added a sparkling crystal center silver cross below the skull. The rest is made up of acrylic beads in alternating orange and black. Ends with a metal link so that the bracelet won't come undone.

My first charity event

I know this post comes a little bit late. I was busy juggling with my boy's first grader homework and learning cooking. Thus, I have less time for creating new items now.

This was the first time that I joined a charity walk cum carnival. It had been a few years that I had went for a road show.

I thought it will be fun and meaningful to do this event.

I tried to prepare as much as possible at home to save on setup time. I pinned the earrings and necklaces on the cork boards first and put in two big plastic containers during support. Total setup time at the booth was less than an hour.

I decided to go for a simple beige and wood color scheme with a matching beige with white stripes table cloth.

Most importantly, i must thank my family for their support. My kids had been wonderful. They behaved well despite the hot weather and long hours. My hubby had helped a lot in transport and looking after the kids.

 It was a tiring day but rewarding trip for me. I gained more than I had expected.
I learnt that we should always count my blessings and it was great to be able to help people who are less fortunate.
